چکیده

Abstract The frequency-dependent amplitude-versus-offset (FAVO) method has become a practical for fluid detection in sand reservoirs. At present, most FAVO inversions are based on the assumption that reservoirs isotropy, but application effect is not satisfactory fractured Hence, we analyse frequency variation characteristics of anisotropy parameters tight sandstone new petrophysical model, and propose stepwise anisotropic inversion to extract attributes from prestack seismic field data. First, combine improved Brie's law with fine-fracture model velocities Thomsen at different gas saturations fracture densities. Then, derive an algorithm Rüger's approximation formula obtain dispersions parameters. Finally, combines spectral decomposition apply it Xinchang area. We use P-wave velocity dispersion parameter ? optimise favourable areas. Numerical analysis results show sensitive density, which can be used prediction In contrast, saturation detection. data second member Xujiahe Group, consistent logging interpretation results.

Permeability Prediction of Tight Sandstone Reservoirs Using Improved BP Neural Network

By analyzing the permeability controlling factors of tight sandstone reservoir in Wuhaozhuang Oil Field, the permeability is considered to be mainly controlled by porosity, clay content, irreducible water saturation and diagenetic coefficient. Because the conventional BP algorithm has its drawbacks such as slow convergence speed and easy falling into the local minimum value, an improved three-l...

Tight Gas Sandstone Reservoirs , Part 1 : Overview and Lithofacies 14

Although shale gas plays have been in the spotlight recently, natural gas in tight sandstones is actually also an important hydrocarbon resource. In many cases, tight gas sandstone resources can be developed more easily than shale gas reservoirs as the rocks generally have higher quartz content, and are more brittle and easier to complete for production. This chapter first gives an overview of ...

Impact of Migration Deconvolution on AVO Inversion

Reflection amplitude as a function of offset is effective in characterizing lithology in oil producing basins. Experience shows that AVO inversion methods based on amplitude-preserved prestack migration typically provides a more accurate lithology estimation than NMO-based AVO analysis. However, some artifacts may be introduced into the migration section, which can obscure the estimate of reser...

High-Precision Spectral Decomposition Method Based on VMD/CWT/FWEO for Hydrocarbon Detection in Tight Sandstone Gas Reservoirs

Seismic time-frequency analysis methods can be used for hydrocarbon detection because of the phenomena of energy and abnormal attenuation of frequency when the seismic waves travel across reservoirs. A high-resolution method based on variational mode decomposition (VMD), continuous-wavelet transform (CWT) and frequency-weighted energy operator (FWEO) is proposed for hydrocarbon detection in tig...

Prestack migration deconvolution+AVO inversion

Measuring reflection amplitude versus offset (AVO) has proved to be effective in reservoir characterization. Experience shows that AVO inversion methods based on amplitude-preserved prestack migration typically provides a more accurate lithology estimate than NMO-based AVO analysis. However, some artifacts may be introduced into the migration section due to an undersampled acquisition geometry,...
